This is not your average prenatal class! This class not only teaches you about labour and birth but also what to expect with your newborn and tailored to your needs. The class is approximately 4 hours long  (either one 4 hour session to two 2 hour sessions). We will cover:

Newborn 101

The transition into parenthood is a huge milestone. It can feel exciting, overwhelming and scary all at the same time. I want to help you feel prepared with caring for your little one from feeding to sleep and everything in between. Let’s avoid those 3am google searches!

During this 90 minute class we cover:

  • Newborn bathing, diapering and hygiene
  • Breastfeeding and bottle feeding
  • Common feeding challenges and troubleshooting
  • How to help your fussy baby
  • Common parent concerns
  • Newborn sleep science and how to improve sleep
  • General newborn quirks

I have got you covered! Prepping for a surgical birth is just as important as preparing for labour. I have customized our standard prenatal class to give you a c-section specific education experience. You will feel ready with going in to your birth, what to expect after and how to recover with life with a newborn.
